Center established with $40M founding gift and three inaugural institutes.
2023
Quantum Computing Institute Launched
Institute 02 established following landmark NSF quantum information grant.
2023
Biomedical & Robotics Institutes Opened
Expansion funded by NIH and DARPA partnerships.

DC Campus
180,000 sq ft purpose-built facility with quantum cleanrooms, robotics testbeds, XR studios.
2023
Climate Institute & $100M Endowment
Institute 08 launched. Endowment reaches $100M. 1,000th publication milestone.
